Raised Access Flooring Is Integral To The Design Of Modern Building Interiors.
It allows the property owner to efficiently manage building services – HVAC, Power, Cabling, plumbing etc, within the Raised Floor plenum.
What is Raised Access Flooring?
Raised access flooring consists of modular floor panels suspended above the actual floor by a series of supports. This creates an empty space, typically called a plenum, which can be utilized to route building services such as plumbing, wiring, and HVAC systems, rather than placing them above a suspended ceiling.
Advantages of Routing Services Through the
Plenum
- Easier Access: Maintenance and repairs can be conducted more efficiently, eliminating the need for scaffolding or ladders.
- Cost Reduction: Shorter routing for wiring, ductwork, and pipes reduces material costs.
- Improved Air Quality: Underfloor air distribution can lead to lower operating costs while enhancing air quality.

Features
- Airflow Direction: The panel supports both Uni-directional and Bi-directional airflow, providing flexibility in cooling strategies.
- Panel Specifications: Measuring 600mm x 600mm with a thickness of 30mm, it features an impressive open surface area of 68%, allowing for optimal air passage. Weighing 17 kg, it is designed to withstand significant point loads of up to 1250 lbs.
- Material and Finish: The panel is made entirely of steel, with an epoxy powder coat finish available in standard grey or custom RAL colors. This not only enhances its aesthetic appeal but also contributes to its durability.

Premium Raised Floor Finishes
Protecting technical and server rooms with raised floor tiles featuring ESD finishes, such as vinyl or antistatic HPL, is vital for safeguarding sensitive equipment. These materials prevent static electricity buildup by conducting charges away, thereby protecting electronic components from electrostatic discharge and ensuring the optimal performance of critical systems.
Data Build Technologies can provide you Raised Flooring with finishes that can meet the ESD specifications of your project.
